Starting modestly with two females and one male mink, Edward Dittrich, Sr. and his wife, Lorene (pictured) launch the beginning of the Dittrich family legacy in Medford, Wisconsin, United States.
In the 1940s, Edward's son Vernon Dittrich carried his father's breeder stock forward when he started his mink farm in Medford, Wisconsin, United States.
Vernon's son David Dittrich continued the family's mink legacy when he started his mink farm in 1964, further establishing Medford, Wisconsin, United States as the Mink Capital of the World.
